Bookkeeping assistant for accounts payable in the library administration office. Includes data entry, reconciliations, and filing. Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets. Minimal accounts receivable duties. Basic administrative and customer service duties: phone and front desk coverage, campus deliveries, and word processing documents.
- Business administration major
- Sophomore or junior class standing
- Excel certified
- Intermediate or advanced MS Word skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills

Hours: MWF 2-4pm and TR 9-11am & 3-5pm.

Collections Assistant (Spring 2015)
Primary responsibilities are to collect, shelve, and file library materials. Students working with us will participate in shelf reading, inventory, and periodic shifting of large quantities of books.
Primary responsibilities are to collect, shelve, and file library materials. Students working with us will participate in shelf reading, inventory, and periodic shifting of large quantities of books. Also, perform other related duties incidental to those described above. An attention to detail, as well as aiding in the comfortable, secure and confidential handling of information is expected. Please be aware that working in this area may irritate persons with allergies or chronic eyestrain.
As an employee of our Library you will be expected to work independently or as part of a team. Student Assistants must have the ability to learn the Library of Congress, other filing systems, and their locations. Those with specific prior knowledge of library services, and maintaining collections will be given preference. Student Assistants must adhere to their scheduled hours and be committed to their position in the Library. Though, this is not a position at a customer service desk, we expect a courteous and professional attitude.

Hours: Positions available mornings only, Monday - Friday between the hours of 7-10am, working 2-2.5 hours shifts.
